Irena Yebuah Tiran, mezzo-soprano

She graduated with honors from the Mozarteum in Salzburg. She is the recipient of several awards. She made her debut at SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana and collaborated with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, the RTV Ljubljana Orchestra, the Bavarian Radio Orchestra, the Klangforum ensemble... As a member of the Nova na Vienna vocal ensemble, she performed at festivals in Salzburg, Bregenz, Styriarte, Wien Modern... She performed in Berio's Sinfonia for 8 soloists and orchestra with the Vienna Philharmonic and in the premiere of Haas' opera Melancolia at the Opera national de Paris.

With the Slovenian Chamber Music Theater, she performed in Svetet's opera The Hero of Our Time, Gluck's The Deceived Judge, the Hommage a Benjamin Britten project, McNeff's Gentle Giant and Svetet's Ada.
