About Irina

She graduated in piano in Belgrade. She started her postgraduate piano studies with prof. Acij Bertonclj and finished with prof. Tatjana Ognjanovič. Since 2000, she has been employed as an accompanist at SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana  and since 2006 at the music school Ljubljana Vič - Rudnik. In 2001, she performed as a soloist  under the baton of conductor Marko Munih with the RTV Slovenia symphony (WA Mozart - concerto for piano and orchestra in C major, KV 467). She is the winner of several international awards (1st prize in Pietra Ligure - Italy and absolute 1st prize  100 points  in San Bartolomeo - Italy). She is a piano accompanist in the field of solo singing, and with the Slovenian Chamber Music Theater she has participated in the plays The Ugly Judge and Frida's Diary of Anne Frank.
