Predsednica SKGG  je na ljubljanski Akademiji za glasbo leta  1999  diplomirala  iz klavirja, leto kasneje pa še from Solopetje. she continued her studies at the  High  school of music in Graz, where in 2004 she graduated with honors in opera and in 2006 also with honors in concert singing. In 2009, she completed her specialization at AG with soprano Vlatka Oršanić. In 2018, the University of Ljubljana awarded her the Recognition of Artistic Work.

She sang in opera houses in Slovenia, Austria and Croatia. SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana included Anne Frank (Frid - The Diary of Anne Frank; co-production of SNG and SKGG), Fanny (Rossini - La cambiale di matrimonio), Frasquita (Bizet - Carmen), Pedro (Massenet - Don Quixote), Anna ( Verdi - Nabucco) and Princess Ninetta (Prokofiev - In Love with Three Oranges). She sang Zerlina (Mozart - Don Giovanni) at the Split Summer Festival and Marinka (Smetana - Bartered Bride) at the Leoben City Theater in Austria. In Leoben, she also sang the roles of Gretchen (Lortzing - Wild Hunter) and Hortense (Heuberger - Opera Dance). At the Theater im Palais in Graz, she performed in several Mozart operas (Zerlina - Don Giovanni, Despina - Cosi fan tutte, Servilia - La clemenza di Tito). At SNG Maribor, she sang the First Lady in Mozart's Magic Flute and Frasquita in Carmen. She was Prima Donna in the chamber opera Mnemosyne (G. Strniša / I. Lovrić); Irena in Kobet's opera Under the Free Sun and Manica in Makovč's opera Deseti brat. 

In the productions of the Slovenian Chamber Music Theater, she was Bastienne in Mozart's one-act play Bastien and Bastienne, Lucy in Menotti's Telephone, Estelle in Gluck's The Deceived Judge, Red Riding Hood in Cui's opera of the same name, and Knight Armidoro in Piccinni's La Cecchina or Nobody's Daughter, Laetitia in Menotti's Zmikavt and the old virgin, Serpina in the Rehearsal for the opera The Master's Maid,  Anne Frank, Angela in Mihelčič's God's Piece, Ada in Svetet's opera of the same name, Mrs. P. in Nyman's opera The Man Who Had a Wife hat and the Singer in Ex/odus of Joy.

She sang in concert with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra (Rutter - Magnificat, Mahler: Das klagende Lied, Novak: Figaro), with the RTV Slovenia Orchestra (Bach: Johannespassion), in Mahler  2nd Symphony, Christmas Oratorio C Saint-Saëns, in Pergolesi's Stabat mater, the cantata Anna Ahmatova by Tina Mauko and in several Mozart masses, and she gave full-length solo recitals in Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Serbia, Italy, India and Nepal. He teaches singing at the Music School Ljubljana Vič - Rudnik.

Katja Konvalinka studied piano and singing in Ljubljana, Slovenia followed by further study in Graz, Austria. She received her doctorate from the Unicersity in Ljubljana in 2018. She first performed in Mozart's operas in Theater im Palais Graz (as Despina - Cosi fan tutte, Zerlina - Don Giovanni, Servilia - La Clemenza di Tito, First Lady - Die Zauberflöte). She also appeared at the Municipal Theater in Leoben as Mary (The  Bartered Bride), Gretchen (Der Wildschütz), Hortense (Der Opernball). She made her debut at the Ljubljana Opera in 2006 in the role of Princess Ninetta (Love for Three Oranges) and sang among others The Diary of Anne Frank (Grigori Frid), Fanny (Rossini - La cambiale di matrimonio). At Split Summer Festival in Croatia she sang Zerlina (Don Giovanni) and has also sung in Opera Maribor. She is artistic director of Slovenian Chamber Music Theater having sung many roles with them including Manotti's The Telephone and The Old Maid and the Thief and Nyman's The Man who mistook his Wife for a Hat. She has championed the works of Slovenian composers such as Tomaž Svete (Ada, Hero of our time), Pavel Mihelčič (The God's Particle), Bojana Šaljič Podešva (Iden), Aleš Makovac (The Tenth Brother), Tom Kobe (Under the free Sun) and Gregor Strniša (Mnemosyne).
